Often imitated, never beaten. The Montane Men’s Terra Pants require no introduction as the ultimate lightweight, breathable and durable mountain trousers, suitable for walking, hill, trail and rock alike proven by multi-activity users across the world.

Ideal for mountain walking, climbing and trekking, the Montane Terra Pants provide lightweight and durable performance for 3 season use. They have been constructed using an updated cotton-feel TACTEL nylon with environmentally friendly PFC-free DWR. This TACTEL fabric is wind and water-resistant and offers a fast-drying, cotton-like feel. The wind and water-resistant properties will help to shield the wearer from the elements, especially those which could cause the wearer to feel an uncomfortable chill. The fast-drying properties also help to reduce the risk of chill. By resisting water and reducing moisture absorption the pants lower the risk of discomfort and distraction when on your hike. The cotton feel allows the pant to sit smoothly against the skin, this will also reduce the risk of chafe and irritation. Placed on the seat, knees and inner ankles of the pant an updated CORDURA Ripstop material has been placed. By adding this to high abrasion areas, the pant will stay in great condition for longer and will offer full coverage and protection to the wearer.

A mesh-lined vent with YKK zip has been placed on each thigh which vastly increases ventilation, meaning it allows cool air to flow in through the fabric at the same time as warm air is released. Two zipped hand pockets have been added to the front of the pant, providing secure and easily accessible storage space for essential items. Belt loops have been placed around the waist area which allows the wearer to use a belt to adjust the fit of the pant if they wish to do so (a belt is provided). Underneath the belt area, the part-elasticated waistband includes a button fastening system which is quick and easy to adjust. Zip panels have been placed in the ankle area of the pant. This will allow the wearer to adjust the amount of coverage and/or ventilation they receive depending on personal preference and weather conditions. Press studs finish the end-of-leg fastenings, providing a reinforced fastening that will give the wearer peace of mind and full coverage.
